During the 2020-2021 college basketball season, Moody was a standout player for the Arkansas Razorbacks. As a freshman, he averaged 16.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game and was instrumental in leading the Razorbacks to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. In the 2021 NBA Draft, Moody was selected 14th overall by the Golden State Warriors.
